Love-Locks Bridge, Paris, France. Couples that have found the loves of their lives take a lock, lock it on the fence, and throw the key in the river. MUST GO to Paris “The romance capital” and the ‘city for lovers’.
I want to go to this bridge so bad. You take a lock and put you and your best friend, boyfriend,or girlfriends name on the lock and throw the key in the river and it will stay there forever. So even if the relationship or friendship may end it will always represent a special person in your life.
What is your favorite symbol of everlasting love? A wedding ring? A bouquet of roses? A love letter? An engraved padlock?
Bridges are romantic all by themselves but to see all these colorful, personalized locks has got to be inspiring! This is a bridge in Moscow where people have locked their love for each other forever and again tossed the key in the Rhine River, Moscow.
Have you been here or seen the Love Locks somewhere else?? 🙂

It runs from switzerland, through Germany, but not Russia or Moscow. These padlocks are often seen in Germany, and even the UK now too.

Why don’t they just remove a bunch of them every now and then? Understandably, they don’t want to ban the practice for tourism reasons, so removing some locks and keys and recycling them is surely a better option?

As per me they are not removing it because people have sentiments attached with it.
But they have asked tourists to not put locks now because the bridge over which the locks are being put is getting heavy and the structure is becoming heavy. So, No removing of locks but tourists being directed. 🙂
