Drug

Sadness
is like a drug.

It takes you
away
from reality.

And makes you see it
in a whole new way.

  1. I don’t know you very well, and I won’t claim to know you well. But, your poems are all very sad.

I hope that this email finds you well, and in good spirits.

    Sincerely

    1. I think temporarily, it’s fine to be sad! But when you stay their for so long then it’s like a hellfire.
      Thanks for reading, Elena! 🙂

      1. Resist, It a feeling of running away.. but after few moments what you realize is that you haven’t moved an atom away.

      2. Right. So you stay with it and experience it fully, as much as you can. You give yourself time for grieving and for processing. Then you make a choice what to think about it, you choose your perception. Do you realize it or not, you do it any way. Then you make a choice what do you want to focus on/ think about now/ your new values. That’s moving on. That’s in the nut shell.

      3. Don’t you think sometimes you are going with the flow and at a certain period of time you realize that you have become hollow from inside! You never planned or choose to be driving on that lane. It just happened & you realized it when it was too late.
It’s in general. I am all okay 😉

    1. Hey A,

I’ve not written that poem, it’s a title song of a serial “Phir Subah Hogi” which I like. I agree about what you said about piya ji. If you can come up with a literate translation. That would be great 🙂

  2. Namaste A,

You should definitely try watching the sitcom. It’s highly recommended and is a very realistic sitcom which promotes and makes the audience aware of real life issues. Also, I hope to hear more from you as well.

    1. Thank you, Jennifer. 🙂
Yea, totally agree with you. But when it stays for long, it starts to hurt badly and then the last glimpse of hope diminishes!
