Sometime all we need is a new perspective.
After publishing 125 posts, and seeking 1000’s of kind notes from fellow bloggers.. The blog finally decided for a change that has been slightly hard to take. The change which the blog author was willing to make for long and finally took it. The blog has a new URL(web address).
Welcome to.. thebrokenspecs (https://thebrokenspecs.wordpress.com)
Do you know, pair of broken glasses left on US gallery floor was once mistaken for art. đ
Why its named, “The Broken Specs“?
I was remembering one occasion when I fell asleep in bed with my glasses on. When I woke up I was lying on them and they were all flat. I tried to bend the temples back and broke both of them. Luckily, I could see with an old pair of glasses that were still stronger than the prescription that I needed at the time. But I was very sad because I liked the broken glasses a lot and they couldn’t be repaired. đ
It is important to hold Love & Trust with a lot of care, don’t let it down, because once broken they cannot be repaired. đ
Hope you enjoy reading the blog.. đ

Open Book
So, during the transit today, I heard a song blasting out of the earphones of a girl(with a thoughtful smile) standing at a stretch away. With a feeling that I have heard the song before, I quickly searched and found that the song is named “Open Book” and is from an album called TV Dinners of Mikey McCleary. I first heard this song during a TV add-break. I remember the song was used in a Mobile Network advertisement which impart ‘Moments of life are made for sharing’.
The add shows how life changes for a girl after the breakup. The video is short, just 00:46 seconds long. I hope you’ll like it. â¤
The lyric are as,
I guess my life’s an open book
Anyone can take a look
No secrets here, to hide
This is just me
Holidays that come and go
Feelings change, people grow
And all I know is
I like being free
Da, Da, Da
I’ll be fine
This is me now
But I could change
Any time.

“How day by day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different”
What does the title line mean?
This is about things moving slowly but relentlessly. A day doesn’t seem very long, but changes do happen. Each day, a little different. A little bit of drift this way or that.
Then, âsuddenlyâ you notice everything is different. Well, itâs been changing the whole time, but you hadn’t noticed until just now. And that is how life tends to come at you.
Consider what has happened in the last year. What about the last decade? Somehow, the changes seem so much greater, donât they? Especially in the active years, from the time youâre out of college until your kids are out of college.
Whether it is the small changes in a town, a tree, your partner, your business, or even in you, there is always a little bit of change.
Time is like a moving sidewalk or an escalator. You donât really notice that youâre moving, except that things around you are changing. Their positions are changing, and you know you must be the one moving, and you have a changing perspective on the world around you.
Time is a very slow moving sidewalk. While there are changes happening all around you, they are so small that they are easily overlooked. But the farther back down the path you look, the more reality differs from your memories. Time has passed, things have changed, as has your perspective.
Beyond that, as time passes, different things become more or less important. The first person you ever had a crush on, would you even admit to it today? Your first true love, how do you feel about that now? Again, looking back, it is way different than it was back then, right?
You may not feel your love today changing, but it is. Will it grow or fade? Youâll know for sure in a few years, perhaps a little sooner, depending on how much changes. But day to day, how can you measure it? That might be something you might want to think about.
Think about this. Change will happen. There is no stopping it. Will it be random, or will you apply some of your own influence to help shape what happens? Life has no guarantees, but if you donât try, you will be at the mercy of random chance. That doesn’t sound good to me.
What will you do to make your life different when you look back on it? All at once, itâs hard. But day by day, change will happen. Is it the change you want, or just something random?
