“why they are not on my face now!”, they asked.
They do not understand,
you were also in those pictures. 😐

Misinterpreted Silence

Everyone was smiling
and
even did He.

Seeing him smile, They asked,
‘How is She?’

He stood in silence
with the smile slowly fading away.

With a thought that He is reserved about Her,
they all chuckled and walked away.

And on another day,
a silence was misinterpreted. 😐

The Pain behind the Smile

It’s easy to look at people and make quick
judgments about them,
their present and their past,
but you’d be amazed at the pain and tears
a single smile can hide.

What a person shows to the world is
only one tiny side of the iceberg
hidden from insight.

And more often then not, it’s lined with
cracks and scars that go all the way
to the foundation of their soul. 🙂
