Atoms

We were just a collection of atoms,
who came together for a brief period,
and then fell apart. 🙂

He saw her in someone today,
but, it wasn’t her.

He realized that it has been very long
he departed in her,
but she still persist in him. 😐

Her heart blossomed in the sky.
When broken, it became a star. ⭐

Maybe..
they found someone better in their way,
they were not infidel, but they did move ahead. 😐

While walking towards the train ticket counter,
she saw a couple hugging,
a smile grew up on her lips
and tears welled up in her eyes. 😥

“Where is your girlfriend?”, She asked.
“Very far”, He replied.

“Is it a long distance?”, She asked.
“You can call it a long distance”,
He said while staring at the sky.

He is an avid reader.
Novels then, old chats now. 😐

In a Silence..
He thinks of Her.
He thinks of the ‘Promises’, He thinks of ‘Love’.
As He walks down the memory lane, He remembers a word ‘Forever’.

Which he now accepts as ‘Never’. 😐

And the day he met her,
the ink of his pen was no longer filled with tears,
but with the happiness.. 🙂

And then suddenly,
the tears escaped from her eyes,
like pain running down her cheeks.. 😥
