It has been a few years
and he still feels miserable
when she crosses his mind.

But he still
keeps her in his prayers. 🙏

He prays for her, before he prays for anyone. 🙂

Maybe you weren’t the one for me,
but deep down I wanted you to be. 🙂

Can’t Imagine Cricket Without Sachin

November 16th 2013, That became the final day for the Cricket Legend Master Blaster Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. Nobody thought that his 200th Test Match will end within 3 days time.

Started His carrier on 15th November 1989 against the worlds greatest fast bowling line up, Pakistan, you can imagine how incredible it would have been when a 17 year old lad facing  deliveries of around 150 Kph. As a kid, i always admired his batting. I remember the time i was getting into cricket, it was 2003 world cup of South Africa. Watching matches all day & my family was involved in it too.

I remember one of the line SRT said after breaking Sunil Gavaskar’s record of maximum centuries in test. He was struggling to get that 35th century & critics were commenting very loudly on his form & ability to play cricket. After completing the century Sachin said ” When People throw Stones at you, you turn them into Milestones”.

Many cricketing legend have said a lot good about Sachin & the passion he has to play cricket. I would like to share an instance which i heard in a television show, one of the cricket legend Sir Don Bradman was watching cricket on his television & he saw Sachin’s batting, he called his wife who was making tea & said her ” Don’t you think this guy bats like me ? ” Bradman’s wife also agreed with it. Bradman was most taken by Tendulkar’s technique, compactness and shot production.

Why no cricketer can be like SRT? Because the simplicity, politeness that guy has is amazing. Serving the nation for 25 years is a very big thing.

A television news giant, British broadcasting corporation’s (BBC) anchor said “Beneath the helmet, under that unruly curly hair, inside the cranium, there is something we don’t know, something beyond scientific measure. Something that allows him to soar, to roam a territory of sport that, forget us, even those who are gifted enough to play alongside him cannot even fathom. When he goes out to bat, people switch on their TV sets and switch off their lives.”

Former Australian Player Mathew Hayden once quoted “I have seen god, he bats at No.4 for India”.

Defining Sachin Tendulkar is very tough, a cricketer, a human being, a master & a lot more.

His last speech which he gave in Wankhede Stadium in his final Test match touched every indian’s heart. It is that mark which he has left on million’s of people all of the world.

“Sachin Sachin.. will definitely reverberate in our ears too”. We’ll miss you Sachin.
