Maybe you weren’t the one for me,
but deep down I wanted you to be. 🙂
Maybe you weren’t the one for me,
but deep down I wanted you to be. 🙂
I had a dream, that you were mine.
I’ve had that dream a thousand times.. 🙂
Merry Christmas 🎋 & Happy New Year ❤
Sometime all we need is a new perspective.
After publishing 125 posts, and seeking 1000’s of kind notes from fellow bloggers.. The blog finally decided for a change that has been slightly hard to take. The change which the blog author was willing to make for long and finally took it. The blog has a new URL(web address).
Welcome to.. thebrokenspecs (https://thebrokenspecs.wordpress.com)
Do you know, pair of broken glasses left on US gallery floor was once mistaken for art. 😀
Why its named, “The Broken Specs“?
I was remembering one occasion when I fell asleep in bed with my glasses on. When I woke up I was lying on them and they were all flat. I tried to bend the temples back and broke both of them. Luckily, I could see with an old pair of glasses that were still stronger than the prescription that I needed at the time. But I was very sad because I liked the broken glasses a lot and they couldn’t be repaired. 😐
It is important to hold Love & Trust with a lot of care, don’t let it down, because once broken they cannot be repaired. 😔
Hope you enjoy reading the blog.. 🙂
Connect with us on,
It was the first time I saw her speaking with someone. She was on the other side of the library hall with one of my friend. They shared a laughter as I approach there, and it appeared like they enjoyed their moment. I greeted my friend and said “Hi” to the Miss. I realized that I will get late to catch the bus so I gave a quick hug to my friend and said goodbye to the Miss. 🙂
The next day, I was sitting on a couch in the corridor, waiting for my next class. There she came, walking in my direction. Her class was next to my class, so she sits and waits. “Hi” I greeted her. She said nothing. Maybe she didn’t hear it. I stood up and moved to my class as my professor entered the classroom. 🤓
I didn’t really know, “If she heard and ignored me, or didn’t she heard my salutation?” I asked myself. 🤔
The class got over. It was an interesting session, but I was very tired. Heading towards the bus station, I saw her walking to-and-fro the bus stop. “So she also takes the bus?” I asked myself. Maybe this time, she will hear my salutation. When I reached the bus stop, I said in a loud voice “Good Afternoon”. Now it was confirmed, I know she won’t reply. 😳
Two weeks later, I was in the Math center, helping junior students with their homework. She came, passed by, and sat down. Miss was really silent. I was able to notice she had a problem, she needed help, but she won’t call the Math tutor. Then she raises her hand and made a sign to call the tutor. Why can’t she just say “Excuse me, sir?” I asked myself. Here my friend came, she greeted me and I greet her back. 🙂
“Can you please help my friend?” my friend asks.
“Sure, I will.” I replied.
“Thanks, and please be patient with her; she is deaf.” 😐
#MerryChristmas 🎋 #HappyNewYear ❤
I hope you are doing great at your end and having an awesome holiday season. 🙂 The year 2015 is about to bid adieu, time to thank for everything it gave us. So, before you get ready with your resolutions for year 2016 and plan out the party for New Year’s eve, I would like to share something similar to what I shared starting this year (Post: Slap Her!).
Recently, I came across a video which depicts how the society and its culture encourages violence against women.
In the five minute video, a unborn baby girl tells her father about all of the harassment and abuse she will suffer at the hands of men during her lifetime.
I won’t go into details and would like to share this video asking you to just give your valuable 5 minutes.
Warning: It’s about boys.
“One thing always leads to another. So please stop it before it gets the chance to begin.”
This, the post you’re reading right now is the 100th post on this blog (I wonder if you couldn’t have guessed it from the title. 😉 😀 )
It’s been a journey that I never thought coming. I can say.. it’s huge.. 100 Posts. ❤
It’s been amazing journey from my first post, Journey to NIIT University, Neemrana , that was posted almost a year ago to my 100th post. When I first posted my thoughts, I never thought that later I will be posting 99 more blog posts, I even didn’t thought to post 10. But it has just happened that I am posting my 100th blog post.
I don’t have many friends who blog but I signup-ed on WordPress because one of my friend wanted me to read her posts. And I really liked reading what she writes, maybe because it was better than the stuff in the textbooks. 😀
After my first post on WordPress, I almost didn’t posted for next 3 months because I never thought of blogging and my first post just came when I was ideal. Slowly and slowly, I started to post more often. It may be because I got more time and writing a random thought was a pleasant thing to put in. I never got addicted to blogging but I’ve always tried to post regularly and till now I’ve prosper in doing it.
I say, a blog becomes more powerful when it is being loved by people. And due to all lovely blogger’s who have visited my blog and have read my post and even appreciated it by liking and commenting is far more greater than anything else which has made me to post regularly. It’s been remarkable how much this blog and its posts has been loved. ❤
I would like to mention few of the posts that have been liked most and few of the posts that are close to me. 🙂
The post that has been liked most was, “You can always make money, you can’t always make memories” ❤
Definitely it is been the post that has been close to all of us. As journey to new world brings new possibilities, by being open minded. 🙂
Photography has been one art that has impressed me a lot on WordPress. The Photographs that are very simple but extremely thoughtful. I wrote a post on photography for all the fellow blogger’s, People with Camera . 🙂
WordPress also has many blogger’s who bring a variety of food to us. Food is close to me 😀 and I have always liked foods posts. After travelling few paces, I also thought to post on a special cuisine, A Indian Snack – Jhaal Muri/Bhel Puri , it is been the most tasty snack on the streets of Mumbai, competing with Vada Pav. 🙂
It’s hard for me to choose which was the best post but all the post are close to me in someway or the other. The posts have brought me to know some amazing blogger’s and has helped me knowing their perspective towards specific topics. What people have shared has motivated me, given me hope and at times has made me realize how better the world is. 😉
I really want to say ‘Thank You’ to all the blogger’s who have appreciated the posts and have been so kind to me. 🙂
Thank You.. 🙂
So, Finally It’s Christmas 2014.
